At St. Barnabas Episcopal School, our educational philosophy is that each student reaches his or her full academic potential in a student-centered environment, where each student is embraced, nurtured, and respected as a unique child of God. Empowering our students to gain a solid understanding of their moral and ethical obligations as members of our society is equally important. Their identities are formed by a Christian foundation of love that supports and challenges our students to build lives of genuine meaning, direction, and service in the world they will inherit.
Students in our kindergarten program begin developing important academic skills in fun and engaging ways. Play, movement, and music are heavily integrated into the classroom in order to help young students grasp new, more advanced concepts.
St. Barnabas Episcopal School students experience tremendous levels of personal and academic growth during their elementary school years. Not only do they learn to master key educational concepts, but they also engage in service and leadership programming.
Our middle school students excel academically, and they become student leaders through participation in service activities and athletic programs. During this important developmental time, these students make great strides in personal growth.
MEASURES OF EXCELLENCE
We believe a campus visit is the best way to determine if our school is the right academic home for your family. We welcome all prospective families to come take a tour, and meet with our administration, staff, and faculty.
We provide our students with a full and dynamic educational experience. From athletic programming and fine arts to our weekly chapel services, we strive to engage our students in learning through multiple disciplines.
